Why did we feel compelled to build this new site? For the last four years we searched, found, offered and many times sold products from China to our customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. For almost every customer we would start looking for new factories with a perfect fit for that particular customer. That was fun but exhausting and we ran into some limitations of that system.

First, we had to put in a lot of effort to be able to give nice quotations to our customers. Efforts cost money, so our offers could be quite expensive for smaller orders. What should happen if we use the same effort over and over again? Would we be able to offer even small quantities at low prices?

Second, many times we found the perfect factory for a job, but we didn’t sell. This had many reasons; change of plans with our customers, budget limitations, customers chose another product we offered, etc. etc. a waste of good opportunities. Wouldn’t it be nice to tap these unused resources and offer them to others?

Third, because of the time difference between China and Europe, it was sometimes hard to quickly calculate prices differences for quantities and shipping costs. Many what if’s would result in lengthy discussions and many e-mails. Would you like airfreight or seafreight? What will happen to these costs when I double my order? Now it’s crystal clear from the website, just fill in what you want and it will tell you what you want to know.

So, that’s the plan. Many improvements to be made, but we are working on it. Don’t forget to check back regularly, because we will be adding new products and features constantly. Any comments or ideas? I would love to hear them from you!
